PKK kills 5 civilians in southeastern Turkey
PKK has killed 5 civilians in an improvised explosive device attack in the Kulp district of Turkey’s southeastern Diyarbakır province, the governor’s office said in a statement on Wednesday.
“5 civilians, who were heading to collect wood in the countryside of Güleç neighborhood of Kulp district, were killed after PKK member detonated an improvised explosive device planted on the road between Kulp and Hazro districts,” the statement said.
The Turkish security forces have launched an operation to capture perpetrators of the attack. (ILKHA)
