Russia reports 5,482 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours
5,057 people have tested positive for coronavius in the last 24 hours in Russia, bringing the number of cases in the country to 907,758.
The country’s death toll from the virus has reached 15,498, an increase of 124 deaths in the last 24 hours.
722,964 patients suffering from coronavirus have been discharged from hospital after being cured.
Russia was relatively late in suffering a serious outbreak, but it is now the country with the fourth-most cases in the world, after the United States, Brazil and India.
The city of Moscow is currently the most affected federal subject, having the majority of confirmed cases.
