Three migrants dead, three missing after boat accident in Aegean Sea

Three migrants tragically lost their lives, and another three remain missing after a rubber boat carrying a group of migrants capsized off the coast of Aydın province on Wednesday.
The incident occurred near the coastal town of Kuşadası when the boat, attempting to cross the Aegean Sea towards Greece, failed to comply with a "stop" warning issued by Turkish security forces.
The Coast Guard successfully rescued 32 individuals from the capsized boat, however, three migrants were confirmed dead, and three others are still unaccounted for despite ongoing search and rescue operations.
The Aegean Sea remains a perilous route for migrants seeking to reach Europe, with numerous incidents of boats capsizing or facing other dangers. Türkiye, which hosts over 4 million migrants, primarily Syrians, continues to face significant challenges in managing this humanitarian crisis. (ILKHA)
