Turkey’s daily death toll from coronavirus drops to 23
23 people have died from coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 4,563, said Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Monday.
Turkey has so far reported 164,769 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 827 cases in the last 24 hours.
128,947 patients suffering from the disease have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.
While 651 patients are being treated in intensive care unit, there are some 283 patients who are mechanically ventilated.
A total of 2,070,719 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country. (ILKHA)
