Israeli forces raid multiple West Bank areas, kidnap several Palestinians
Israeli occupation forces conducted widespread raids across different parts of the West Bank overnight and at dawn on Monday, storming homes and kidnapping a number of Palestinian residents.
According to local sources, forces raided several homes in the al-Arroub refugee camp, north of al-Khalil (Hebron), and detained two teenagers.
In the al-Khalil province, Israeli troops also stormed the towns of Tarqumiyah and Beit Ummar, detaining two Palestinians, including an elderly man.
In southern al-Khalil, the Israeli military established multiple checkpoints at the entrances of the city, surrounding towns, villages, and refugee camps. Several main and secondary roads were reportedly blocked using barriers, concrete blocks, and dirt mounds.
In the Tulkarem area, three Palestinians were detained following raids on homes in the city and the nearby Dhanabah suburb.
In Nablus, Israeli forces raided the village of Tell, southwest of the city, where they searched and ransacked several homes before detaining a young man from the Ramadan family and his 15-year-old brother.
Additional raids and road blockages were reported in other parts of the West Bank, though no further arrests were immediately confirmed in those areas.
Such nightly military operations and arrest campaigns are common in the occupied West Bank, where tensions remain high amid ongoing conflict. No immediate comment was available from the Israeli military regarding Monday’s operations. (ILKHA)
