Orphans Foundation distributes hot meals to needy families in Gaza
The Orphans Foundation (Yetimler Vakfı) is continuing to distribute hot meals to orphaned children and needy families in Gaza through its “Her Gün Bir Sofra” (A Table Every Day) project, providing vital food assistance to Palestinians struggling amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
The foundation delivers freshly prepared meals to families facing difficulties in accessing food and meeting their basic needs, with particular attention to households caring for orphaned children.
As the humanitarian crisis continues to place a heavy burden on Gaza’s population, access to adequate food remains a major challenge for vulnerable families. Daily hot meal distributions are helping ease some of that burden and provide support to those struggling to survive under difficult conditions.
The project is being carried out with contributions from philanthropists whose donations help the foundation sustain its humanitarian activities in the besieged territory.
Through the initiative, the Orphans Foundation aims to ensure that orphaned children and disadvantaged families receive regular food assistance while continuing its broader efforts to support Palestinians affected by the crisis.
The Orphans Foundation officials have called on philanthropists to increase their support so that hot meals can reach more families in need.
The foundation said donations would help cover the cost of preparing and distributing meals, enabling the project to extend its reach to more vulnerable households.
It also urged the public to strengthen solidarity with Gaza’s orphaned children and needy families, stressing the importance of continued humanitarian assistance as Palestinians struggle to meet their most basic needs.
Through the “Her Gün Bir Sofra” project, the Orphans Foundation continues to seek support for families facing food insecurity, with the aim of ensuring that those most in need are not left without assistance. (ILKHA)
