A couple has been stoned to death by relatives of the woman for the inter-caste status of their marriage in the northern Gadag district of the Indian state of Karnataka.
An Indian woman and her husband who married outside their caste were stoned to death by her relatives after the couple returned to their village to visit family, police said Thursday.
According to local resources, the 29-year-old couple, from the same village, had married three years ago against the wishes of their families and moved to Bengaluru and had two children. (ILKHA)
