Afghan Energy Minister holds fruitful meeting with China's HTC company
The Acting Energy and Water Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, recently held a meeting with representatives from China’s HTC Company, as stated by the ministry.
During the meeting, the HTC Company representatives expressed their keen interest in investing in the production of coal and wind-fired energy within Afghanistan. They also requested the ministry's cooperation on the ground to facilitate the necessary arrangements, according to an official statement.
Mansour warmly welcomed HTC's investment interest in Afghanistan and emphasized that the Islamic Emirate has created a conducive environment for investments in various sectors like never before. The statement further assured foreign investors of the ministry's commitment to providing comprehensive cooperation and facilitation for their investments in the country.
This surge in interest from foreign investors reflects the growing confidence in Afghanistan's potential for economic development. Successful investments and the development of the country's mining sector are expected to generate millions of job opportunities for the local population, further enhancing the nation's economic growth and prosperity.
