Afghanistan: Death toll from earthquake jumps to 920
The death toll from Tuesday night’s earthquake in Afghanistan jumped to 920 people, according to the country’s disaster management ministry.
The Deputy State Minister for Natural Disaster Management Mawlavi Sharfuddin Muslim in a press conference today said that 920 people were killed and more than 610 others injured in the quake.
The death toll is expected to increase as an investigation in affected areas is still ongoing. (ILKHA)
