The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan has summoned Pakistan’s Chargé d’Affaires in Kabul to lodge a formal protest over the recent violations of Afghan airspace and aerial bombardments in eastern provinces.

In an official statement, the ministry said it strongly condemned the reported strikes, which allegedly targeted residential areas in the provinces of Kunar, Paktia, and Paktika.

The Afghan authorities stated that the Islamic Emirate considers these actions a “flagrant violation” of international principles, international humanitarian law, and Afghanistan’s national sovereignty, and denounced them in the strongest possible terms.

The ministry did not provide further operational details about the alleged incidents but emphasized that such actions undermine regional stability and violate established norms governing state sovereignty.

Pakistan has not yet issued an official response to the Afghan protest. (ILKHA)
