HAKSİAD to bring together business leaders in Ankara for 6th businessmen meeting
The sixth edition of the HAKSİAD Businessmen Meeting is set to bring together industrialists, entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders from across Türkiye and abroad in Ankara’s Kızılcahamam district between June 25 and 28.
Organized annually since 2018 by the Association of Just Industrialists and Businessmen (HAKSİAD), the event will be held this year under the theme “Ethical Trade, Strong Türkiye”, focusing on strengthening cooperation within the business community while promoting ethical and value-based economic practices.
Three Days of Consultation and Training
The gathering will feature a comprehensive program of seminars, presentations, consultation sessions, and networking activities covering a wide range of topics, including trade ethics, Islamic economics, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, family life, and the future of the Turkish economy.
The event will begin with a welcome and networking session, providing participants with an opportunity to exchange views and establish new business connections before the formal program starts.
On the second day, proceedings will open with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by an opening address by HAKSİAD General President Vedat Turgut. A greeting speech will be delivered by Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu.
Participants will then attend presentations by prominent speakers, including theologian and educator Muhammed Emin Yıldırım on trade ethics and Prof. Dr. Abdülmuttalip Arpa on Islamic economics.
Focus on Business Development and Cooperation
The afternoon session will feature a presentation by HAKSİAD Deputy Chairman Selahattin Güneş on the role of the business community in Türkiye and the organization's activities.
One of the key components of the program will be a series of B2B meetings designed to strengthen commercial ties and foster cooperation among participants from different sectors.
Organizers say these meetings aim to create new investment opportunities, encourage partnerships, and contribute to the development of a stronger and more connected business network.
Evaluating the Turkish Economy
The third day of the event will focus on economic developments and future projections for the Turkish economy.
Prof. Dr. Arif Yavuz will deliver presentations assessing current economic conditions and offering recommendations to employers for the 2026–2027 period.
Participants will also be introduced to HAKSİAD’s ongoing digitalization initiatives. A presentation by Deputy Chairman Maruf İçke will outline new digital projects and technological transformation efforts being implemented by the association. A signing ceremony related to these initiatives is also scheduled.
Family and Social Issues Included in Agenda
In addition to economic and commercial topics, organizers have included sessions addressing family and social issues.
Theologian and author Süleyman Çakmak will speak on communication between spouses and the impact of social media on family privacy.
Special seminars will also be organized for female participants. Nevin Yapıcıoğlu will deliver a presentation titled “Diseases That Destroy Trust,” while Aynur Sülün will discuss the growing role and influence of women in the business world.
Programs for Families and Children
Reflecting the family-oriented nature of the event, organizers have planned educational and recreational activities for children accompanying participants. Special programs and workshops will be held for children between the ages of four and seven throughout the gathering.
The event will conclude with meetings involving provincial representatives and headquarters officials, followed by a final declaration and press statement summarizing the outcomes of the discussions.
Organizers expect the 6th HAKSİAD Businessmen Meeting to serve as an important platform for strengthening economic cooperation, promoting ethical business principles, and encouraging dialogue on the challenges and opportunities facing Türkiye’s business community in the years ahead. (ILKHA)
