At least 7 Palestinians killed as Israeli strikes target homes, civilians and aid supplies in Gaza
At least seven Palestinians were killed and several others injured in fresh Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, according to local sources, as Israeli military activity continued in several areas of the besieged territory.
The latest casualties included four Palestinians killed in attacks on Tuesday, while three others died from injuries sustained in earlier Israeli strikes.
According to local sources, 23-year-old Amir al-Kadsh was killed and four other Palestinians were wounded when an Israeli drone targeted an area in al-Mawasi, west of Khan Yunis, in southern Gaza.
Two other Palestinians were also wounded by Israeli gunfire in Hamad City, north of Khan Yunis.
In another incident, a young Palestinian girl sustained serious gunshot wounds after Israeli forces opened fire on her in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.
Three additional Palestinians died Tuesday after succumbing to severe injuries sustained in separate Israeli attacks in recent days.
In the evening, the Palestinian Information Center reported that three civilians were killed and others injured when Israeli aircraft struck the home of the al-Arr family near Abu Hussein School in Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
The attack added to a series of strikes reported across the Strip as Israeli forces continued military operations in densely populated areas.
Local sources also reported widespread military activity throughout Gaza, including gunfire, artillery shelling and demolitions.
The latest casualties come amid continued reports of Israeli attacks despite the ceasefire that has reduced, but not completely halted, violence in Gaza.
On Monday, Israeli attacks reportedly killed six Palestinians and wounded several others, while two additional victims died from injuries sustained in earlier attacks.
The continuing casualties have deepened concerns over the fragile security situation in Gaza, where Palestinians remain exposed to airstrikes, gunfire and artillery attacks while large numbers of civilians continue to live in displacement and face severe humanitarian conditions.
The latest incidents underscore the continuing risks faced by Palestinian civilians across Gaza, particularly in areas where military activity and displacement have disrupted access to shelter, healthcare and other essential services. (ILKHA)
