The death toll from israel's prolonged and devastating attacks on the Gaza Strip has reached an alarming 30,000, as reported by Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor.

According to the latest figures released on Tuesday, December 26, 29,124 Palestinians have lost their lives, with a significant majority being civilians.

The breakdown of casualties includes 11,422 children, 5,822 women, 481 health personnel, and 101 journalists, highlighting the heavy toll on non-combatants. Additionally, 56,122 Palestinians have been injured, with many in critical condition. Hundreds are reportedly still trapped under the rubble of buildings, while others remain uncounted, either buried or injured in the streets.

Euro-Med Monitor estimates painted a grim picture of the humanitarian crisis, indicating that over 1.920 million people in the Gaza Strip are displaced and lack a safe shelter, enduring inhumane conditions. The ongoing Israeli attacks have resulted in the complete destruction of 65,600 housing units, and partial damage to 177,200 others.

Zionist forces have not spared vital infrastructure facilities in Gaza, targeting 305 schools, 1,541 industrial facilities, and 135 health facilities, including hospitals, clinics, and ambulances. Religious sites, including 183 mosques and 3 churches, along with 165 press offices, have also been among the structures affected.

Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has condemned israel's actions, accusing it of escalating a genocide war on Gazan civilians to intensify its enforced displacement policy. The organization warned that these actions violate international laws, including international humanitarian law and the 1949 Geneva Convention, constituting war crimes under the Rome Statute governing the International Criminal Court.
