Death toll in Gaza rises to 50,399 amid ongoing Israeli aggression

The death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 50,399 since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023, with the majority of casualties being women and children.
At least 114,583 others have been injured, according to medical sources.
Since March 18, 2025, when Israel resumed its military assault on Gaza following the collapse of a ceasefire agreement, an additional 1,042 civilians have been killed, and 2,542 have sustained injuries. Medical sources report that in the past 24 hours alone, 42 civilians were killed and 183 others were wounded, further exacerbating the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
This toll remains incomplete, as many victims are still trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews due to the relentless bombardment and destruction of infrastructure.
The humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate as medical facilities struggle to cope with the influx of casualties. Emergency services face critical shortages of medical supplies, and hospitals are operating beyond capacity, making it increasingly difficult to provide life-saving treatment to the wounded. (ILKHA)
