Israeli airstrikes kill at least 15 at UNRWA clinic in Gaza

At least 15 civilians, including women and children, were killed and several others injured when Israeli warplanes bombed a United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) clinic in the northern Gaza Strip, local sources reported.
The airstrike targeted the facility in Jabalia camp, which was sheltering displaced persons, sparking a fire and leaving dozens dead or wounded.
The attack on the UNRWA-run clinic was part of a broader wave of Israeli military operations across Gaza. In the central Gaza Strip, two civilians were killed and others injured after Israeli forces bombed a house owned by the Durgham family in Bureij camp. Meanwhile, in the south, artillery shelling struck agricultural land in Al-Fakhari, east of Khan Yunis.
Further casualties were reported in southern Gaza, where two civilians lost their lives in separate incidents. One was shot by an Israeli drone in the Musabah area, while another was killed in Khirbet al-Adas, north of Rafah. In Khan Yunis, medical and civil defense teams recovered the bodies of 12 people—including children and women—from the rubble of the Abdel Bari family home, which had been targeted by Israeli forces. Additional strikes hit homes belonging to the Al-Qaoud and Abu Talib families near the Rafah garage in the south.
The escalating violence has drawn attention to the plight of civilians caught in the conflict, with rescue efforts ongoing amid widespread destruction. The bombing of the UNRWA clinic, a critical lifeline for displaced Palestinians, has intensified concerns over the humanitarian crisis in the region. (ILKHA)
