Gaza death toll rises to 74,561 as Israeli attacks continue despite ceasefire
The death toll from Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip has risen to 74,561 since October 7, 2023, while the number of Palestinians wounded has reached 175,759, according to the Gaza Health Ministry on Tuesday.
In its daily report, the ministry said hospitals had received the bodies of six Palestinians and 32 wounded people over the past 24 hours.
Despite a ceasefire agreement that took effect on October 10, 2025, Israeli attacks have continued to claim Palestinian lives and leave more people injured.
According to the ministry, at least 1,565 Palestinians have been killed and another 5,640 wounded since the ceasefire came into effect.
The latest figures underscore the continuing human toll of Israel’s war on Gaza, which has devastated the besieged territory and placed enormous pressure on its already strained healthcare system. (ILKHA)
