Genocide continues: Israeli forces target homes and tents, killing families in Gaza

At least 17 Palestinians were killed and numerous others injured in a wave of Israeli airstrikes that struck homes and tents housing displaced people across the Gaza Strip early Tuesday morning.
The attacks targeted multiple locations, including Khan Yunis, al-Bureij refugee camp, Gaza City, al-Zawayda, and Deir al-Balah, according to local sources and medical officials.
In one devastating strike, the five-member Anshasi family—comprising a father, mother, and their three children—perished when Israeli forces bombed their tent in Hamad City, west of Khan Yunis. Another strike in the Qizan al-Najjar area, south of Khan Yunis, claimed the lives of two civilians, including a child, after a house was targeted. In al-Bureij refugee camp, five people, including two women, were killed in a similar bombing of a residential building.
Gaza City’s al-Sabra neighborhood saw four fatalities and additional injuries when an airstrike hit the al-Khor family home. Further south, in Deir al-Balah, a woman was killed and others wounded after a house on al-Nakhil Street was bombed. The Israeli military also launched a series of consecutive airstrikes, hitting homes and structures in Abasan (east of Khan Yunis), al-Bureij, Az-Zawayda, the Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City, Rafah, and Deir al-Balah. Among the targets were two chalets in Az-Zawayda, with the raids leaving several civilians injured. Medical sources reported that some of the wounded were transported to Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah for treatment.
The latest violence follows the resumption of Israel’s military campaign on March 18, which local sources describe as a "war of extermination." Since then, more than 750 Palestinians have been killed and approximately 1,400 injured, with children and women making up the majority of the casualties. The bombardment has targeted homes, hospitals, displaced persons’ tents, vehicles, and civilian gatherings, employing warplanes, drones, and artillery.
The broader conflict, ongoing since October 7, 2023, has resulted in a staggering toll, with over 163,000 Palestinians reported dead or wounded—predominantly children and women—and more than 14,000 missing, amid what local authorities characterize as a genocide in the Gaza Strip. The relentless strikes have drawn widespread concern as civilian infrastructure and densely populated areas continue to bear the brunt of the violence.
The blood of Palestine cries out for justice, yet the spirit of its people remains unbroken, a testament to their unwavering resolve in the face of barbarity. As of Tuesday morning, the world watches in silence while Gaza bleeds, its children’s dreams extinguished by bombs dropped in the name of occupation. (ILKHA)
