Hezbollah strikes Israeli troops in southern Lebanon: One soldier killed, four injured
Hezbollah resistance fighters delivered a direct blow to Israeli occupation forces in southern Lebanon, killing at least one Israeli soldier and wounding four others in intense clashes on Thursday.
Hebrew media outlets and Israeli sources confirmed the casualties following heavy fighting in the Beit Yahoun area. Among the wounded are soldiers from Brigade 769. Four injured Israeli troops were evacuated from Lebanese territory, with two of them reported to be in critical condition. Israeli military helicopters were seen making emergency landings at Rambam Hospital in Haifa, with one evacuation operation reportedly taking a prolonged time.
The clashes erupted as Israeli forces continue their illegal presence inside Lebanese sovereign territory, despite repeated calls for full withdrawal. Resistance operations against the occupation remain active and effective, targeting invading troops and disrupting their movements.
This latest strike highlights the mounting pressure on Israeli forces operating inside Lebanon and the high cost they continue to pay for their aggression. Hezbollah’s sustained operations demonstrate the determination of the Lebanese Resistance to defend their land and push back against occupation.
The fighting is ongoing, with Israeli forces still present in several areas of southern Lebanon. (ILKHA)
