Israeli forces abduct Palestinians in violent raids across West Bank
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched an aggressive wave of arrests and violent raids across the West Bank overnight and into Tuesday morning, targeting Palestinian civilians in their homes and detaining dozens.
The town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, has been under siege since dawn, with IOF raiding homes and abducting at least 13 Palestinians. The incursion has left residents in fear as the occupation forces continue their aggressive actions in the area. Roadblocks and military barriers around Nablus have caused severe disruptions, further suffocating the city's daily life.
In al-Khalil (Hebron), IOF forces stormed Idhna town, ransacking homes and abducting 12 Palestinians. The ongoing assault has left families in distress as the town endures heightened military presence and harassment.
In Bethlehem, occupation forces stormed homes, kidnapping two young Palestinians and looting money and jewelry. This blatant theft underscores the systematic abuse and humiliation inflicted upon Palestinian families during these raids.
In Jericho, the IOF has effectively turned the city into a prison by blocking all its entrances, preventing movement in or out. During a raid on Aqabat Jabr refugee camp, soldiers brutally assaulted Rami Jamal in his home, leaving him severely injured and requiring urgent medical care.
In Qalqilya, five Palestinians were abducted during home invasions, while IOF roadblocks at the city’s eastern entrance added to the disruption of daily life.
In Tulkarem, six Palestinians were taken from their homes during violent raids, with movement restrictions imposed across the province.
Israeli forces intensified their presence across the West Bank, targeting citizens and vehicles on roads in Ramallah, Bireh, Jerusalem, and other areas. Reports of harassment, vandalism, and physical assaults against Palestinians are mounting as the occupation escalates its oppressive tactics.
These raids and arrests are part of a larger pattern of Israeli occupation policies aimed at breaking Palestinian resilience and silencing resistance. The collective punishment inflicted on entire communities through blockades, assaults, and arbitrary detentions highlights the ongoing struggle of Palestinians against military oppression and systemic injustice.
As the West Bank faces this latest surge in violence, the international community’s silence enables the occupation to continue its violations of human rights and international law with impunity. (ILKHA)
