Israeli strikes kill civilians in Gaza on first day of Eid al-Fitr

The first day of Eid al-Fitr was marred by violence in the Gaza Strip as multiple Israeli strikes claimed civilian lives and left others injured across various regions, according to local sources.
In the Qizan Abu Rishwan area south of Khan Yunis, an Israeli shelling targeted a tent housing displaced families, killing four civilians. Further north, in Jabalia, an airstrike struck the Muqbel family home, resulting in the deaths of two civilians and wounding several others. Meanwhile, a drone attack in the Khirbet Al-Adas area north of Rafah injured multiple people gathered in the vicinity.
Medical sources updated the toll of Israel’s military operations in Gaza, reporting that 50,277 people have been killed since the onset of the conflict on October 7, 2023. Additionally, over 114,095 individuals have sustained injuries amid the ongoing aggression.
