One spectator dead after rally car loses control, plows into crowd in Argentina
A rally car lost control and crashed into spectators during a South American Rally event in Argentina’s Cordoba province, leaving one person dead and several others injured.
The incident occurred during the Giulio Cesare stage in the Mina Clavero area, where a competing vehicle reportedly overturned before veering into a group of spectators watching the race.
According to local reports, one spectator was killed in the crash, while at least three others sustained injuries. Emergency response teams were dispatched to the scene and transported the wounded to nearby hospitals.
The accident forced race officials to cancel the final stage of the competition as authorities launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
