Severe humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip continue to make it difficult for orphaned children and vulnerable families to access basic necessities, with shortages of food, clean water and medical supplies compounding the hardships faced by civilians.

Amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis, the Yetimler Vakfı (Orphans Foundation) is continuing its relief activities in Gaza through its “A Table Every Day” project, providing hot meals to hundreds of families in need.

Under the initiative, meals prepared with the support of donors are distributed regularly, with priority given to families caring for orphaned children as well as other vulnerable households struggling to meet their basic food needs.

The foundation said the assistance is intended to provide direct daily support to families facing severe deprivation and food insecurity.

According to the foundation, Gaza’s population continues to face difficult living conditions amid shortages of essential supplies. Humanitarian assistance therefore remains particularly important for orphaned children and families who lack sufficient access to food.

Through the “A Table Every Day” campaign, the Yetimler Vakfı aims to sustain its daily hot-meal distributions and expand the number of families reached with the help of donors.

The foundation expressed its appreciation to those who have contributed to its relief efforts and renewed its call for additional support for orphaned children and needy families in Gaza.

The organization said continued donor contributions would enable it to maintain the daily meal program and reach more households affected by the humanitarian crisis.

For families living under the shadow of conflict and deprivation, the hot meals provide not only immediate food assistance but also continued humanitarian support during an exceptionally difficult period. (ILKHA)
