Orphans Foundation distributes 1,000 boxes of baby formula to children in Gaza Strip
Türkiye-based Orphans Foundation (Yetimler Vakfı) has distributed 1,000 boxes of infant milk formula to vulnerable babies and children in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza.
The aid was provided particularly to newborns, malnourished children and sick babies struggling to survive amid severe shortages of essential food and medical supplies.
Under its “Formula Campaign for Innocent Babies in Gaza,” the foundation procured and delivered 1,000 boxes of milk formula to families in need, seeking to address the urgent nutritional needs of children facing increasingly difficult living conditions.
A portion of the formula supplies was distributed to malnourished children, newborns and sick infants receiving treatment at Nasser Medical Hospital in Khan Yunis.
The remaining supplies were delivered to vulnerable families living in three separate tent camps across the city. The foundation provided assistance based on beneficiary lists to ensure that milk formula reached children in need.
Babies and young children in Gaza remain particularly vulnerable to the consequences of Israel's ongoing military assault, displacement and restrictions on humanitarian assistance, which have severely undermined access to food, clean water and essential healthcare.
The Orphans Foundation said it was continuing its humanitarian activities to alleviate the suffering of Palestinian families and help meet the basic nutritional needs of babies and children.
Through its ongoing campaign, the foundation aims to provide essential support to innocent children struggling to survive under the harsh conditions imposed by Israel's war and blockade on the besieged Gaza Strip. (ILKHA)
