Settler killed in combined ramming-shooting attack near Haifa

A shooting and ramming operation targeting Israeli settlers in the occupied Lower Galilee region has left at least one dead and several others injured, according to Hebrew media reports.
The incident occurred on Monday in the town of Yokneam Illit, approximately 20 kilometers southeast of Haifa. Reports indicate that a Palestinian man rammed his vehicle into a bus stop before exiting the car and opening fire on those present.
The attack resulted in the death of at least one Israeli settler, while others sustained varying degrees of injury. Emergency responders rushed to the scene, and the area was quickly sealed off by Israeli forces.
No official statement has yet been released identifying the attacker or providing further details on the motivation behind the operation. However, the incident comes amid heightened tensions across the occupied Palestinian territories in the wake of continued Israeli aggression in Gaza and the West Bank.
The attack has drawn widespread attention, with observers noting it as a possible act of retaliation amid growing resistance efforts against the ongoing occupation and settler violence.
More details are expected to emerge as investigations continue. (ILKHA)
