Sinkhole swallows a bus and pedestrians in China: 6 dead
A huge sinkhole swallowed a bus and pedestrians on Monday in Xining, the capital of Qinghai province of northwest China, killing at least six people and leaving four others missing, according to state media.
The accident, which has taken place outside a hospital, also caused an explosion inside the hole.
Search and rescue works were under way and the cause of the accident was under investigation, the local officials said. (ILKHA)
