Three Palestinians killed as Israeli forces continue deadly attacks across Gaza despite ceasefire
Three Palestinians were killed on Thursday as Israeli forces continued military attacks across the Gaza Strip, with Palestinian sources accusing Israel of ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement that took effect in October 2025.
According to local and medical sources, Saed Jalal Agha succumbed to critical injuries after being shot by Israeli forces east of Beit Lahia. Residents also reported that another Palestinian was killed by Israeli gunfire in the same area, where Israeli troops have repeatedly targeted civilians despite the ceasefire.
Medical officials also confirmed the death of Abdul Rahman Ziyada, who died from wounds sustained several days earlier when an Israeli strike hit a tent sheltering displaced Palestinian families inside Ibn Sina School in western Gaza City.
Palestinian sources reported that Israeli naval vessels opened fire off the coast of Khan Yunis early Thursday, while Israeli military vehicles fired live ammunition and shells toward the eastern districts of the city.
Heavy artillery shelling and gunfire were also reported in eastern Khan Yunis and the eastern outskirts of the Zeitoun neighborhood, forcing residents to remain under constant threat despite the ceasefire.
Palestinian officials say these repeated attacks have created a climate of fear among civilians and have prevented many displaced families from safely returning to their homes.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Israeli actions since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, have resulted in the deaths of 1,033 Palestinians, while 3,309 others have been injured. The ministry also said that 785 bodies have been recovered during the same period.
The ministry added that since the outbreak of the war on October 7, 2023, the total Palestinian death toll has reached 73,045, with 173,417 people injured.
Palestinian officials say the continued military operations demonstrate what they describe as Israel's ongoing disregard for the ceasefire, calling on the international community to take urgent action to halt attacks on civilians and ensure accountability for the mounting humanitarian toll in the Gaza Strip.
