Turkish Airlines expands flight network with new route to Cambodia

Turkish Airlines (THY) has announced plans to launch flights to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, further expanding its global reach.
Turkish Airlines has held the title of the airline flying to the most countries worldwide since 2012, a distinction that earned it a place in the Guinness Book of Records. According to the latest evaluation criteria of Guinness World Records, THY set a new milestone by operating flights to 120 countries, based on active routes over the past 12 months.
The airline’s flight network has now expanded to 131 countries, including temporarily suspended routes and the inaugural flight to Chile on December 19, 2024. This achievement reaffirms Turkish Airlines’ leadership in the global aviation industry.
As the national flag carrier continues to introduce new routes, it strengthens its role in connecting the world through Türkiye, further solidifying its status as a key player in international air travel. (ILKHA)
