Yemeni forces strike 11 Saudi-backed positions, inflict heavy losses in successful operations
The Yemeni Armed Forces under the Sanaa government delivered decisive blows against Saudi-backed military gatherings over the past 24 hours, targeting 11 concentrations of enemy forces with precision ballistic missile strikes, military spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Sarie announced on Wednesday evening.
In an official statement, Brig. Gen. Sarie confirmed that the operations were carried out using 11 ballistic missiles across southern Bab al-Mandab, Al-Suqya, Ras Al-Arah, and Al-Madharebah areas. The strikes resulted in dozens of casualties among the Saudi-backed forces, including several commanders, and the destruction of multiple military vehicles.
“In the same context, our forces tracked and monitored a company belonging to the so-called 13th Amaliqa Brigade—which was involved in running over prisoners—and targeted its assembly with a ballistic missile,” Sarie stated. The precise strike left more than 30 dead and wounded, delivering justice against those responsible for such atrocities.
Earlier, Sanaa forces successfully repelled an attempted advance by Saudi-backed troops toward positions held east of Jawf Governorate. Using a combination of ballistic missiles and drones, the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted enemy troop concentrations, foiling the offensive and inflicting significant casualties and equipment losses on the aggressors.
In a further victory, an official military source in Sanaa confirmed on Wednesday afternoon the complete expulsion of Saudi-backed mobilizations from Al-Silw District in Taiz Governorate. The enemy troops surrendered their weapons and positions to the Yemeni Armed Forces, as reported by the official Saba News Agency.
These coordinated operations underscore the continued readiness and effectiveness of the Sanaa forces in defending Yemeni territory against foreign-backed aggression and in protecting the sovereignty of the nation. (ILKHA)
