Erdogan unveils national employment strategy in Ankara

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a major address at the debut of the National Employment Strategy and the launch of the İŞKUR Youth Programme at the Beştepe Nation’s Convention and Culture Center in Ankara.
In his speech, Erdoğan highlighted the administration’s commitment to establishing a fair and competitive economic order while accelerating the country's growth and development.
Erdoğan outlined his government’s economic blueprint, emphasizing the importance of four key pillars: production, investment, employment, and exports. “Since the first day we came into power with the vote and trust of our nation, we have endeavored to raise Türkiye’s economy upon these four pillars,” Erdoğan stated.
The President underscored the government’s efforts to remove obstacles across critical sectors, including healthcare, agriculture, trade, transportation, industry, justice, social security, and technology. “We have ensured the establishment of a fair and competitive order while also accelerating the growth and development of our country,” he added.
Erdoğan stressed that the ultimate goal is to build a prosperous Türkiye where all citizens—from workers to civil servants, farmers to tradesmen, and engineers to private sector employees—feel safe and secure. He asserted that through these comprehensive reforms, Turkey has rebuilt itself into a nation that not only has regional influence but also stands out on the global stage with its democratic and developmental initiatives.
“Standing shoulder to shoulder with our nation, we have rebuilt a country which has a say in its region and in the world,” Erdoğan declared, reinforcing the message that the nation's progress is a collective achievement driven by unity and shared purpose.
The launch of the İŞKUR Youth Programme was also a significant aspect of the event. The initiative aims to address youth unemployment and empower the next generation by providing them with better opportunities in the workforce. This move is part of a broader strategy to ensure that all segments of society contribute to and benefit from Türkiye’s ongoing economic development.
The speech at Beştepe highlighted a continued commitment by the Erdoğan administration to drive economic reform and growth while ensuring that progress translates into tangible benefits for all Turkish citizens. With strategic measures in place to tackle unemployment and boost key economic sectors, the government is poised to further its ambition of building a resilient and influential Türkiye on the global stage.
