565 mortar shells were defused in Ras al-Ayn, Turkey's Defense Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
"Another disaster was prevented owing to the high level of training, experience and the watchfulness of our commandos. A total of 565 mortar shells were defused in a civilian house rigged with explosives by PKK/YPG members east of Ras al-Ayn," the statement said.
