Türkiye condemns Yemeni drone attack targeting Saudi Arabia
Türkiye’s Foreign Ministry has condemned a drone attack by Yemeni forces targeting Saudi Arabia, saying attacks of this nature threaten regional stability and security.
In a statement, the ministry said it “strongly condemns” the drone attack targeting the holy city of Mecca.
“ We reaffirm our support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity and security of Saudi Arabia, and once again underscore our solidarity,” the ministry said.
Türkiye also called for an immediate halt to such attacks and urged all parties to avoid actions that could further escalate tensions in the region.
“We reiterate our call for the immediate cessation of these attacks, which also threaten regional stability and security, and for refraining from any actions that would further escalate tensions,” the ministry said. (ILKHA)
