Erdoğan and Sharif discuss Gaza genocide during Eid al-Adha call

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, focusing on the current situation in Gaza and extending Eid al-Adha greetings.
During the call, Erdoğan expressed the shared sorrow of the Islamic world due to the ongoing oppression in Gaza by Israeli forces. He highlighted the grief felt during Eid al-Adha, a time usually marked by celebration, as a result of the suffering in Gaza.
Erdoğan took the opportunity to congratulate Prime Minister Sharif and the people of Pakistan on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. He extended his best wishes for peace, health, and prosperity to all Pakistanis during this significant Islamic holiday.
The conversation also served to reinforce the strong ties between Turkey and Pakistan, with both leaders expressing mutual goodwill and the importance of continued cooperation on issues of mutual interest, including regional stability and humanitarian efforts.
