European Orphan Hand provides hot meals to earthquake-affected people in southeastern Türkiye

European Orphan Hand (Avrupa Yetim Eli), an international help organization based in Mannheim, Germany, has distributed hot meals to hundreds of people who was forced to leave their homes after a devastating earthquake.
The volunteers for the humanitarian organization distributed hot meals to people who were forced to leave their homes and take shelter in nearby mosques.
At least 5,400 people were killed and about 30,000 others injured in 10 provinces after two strong earthquakes of 7.7- and 7.6-magnitudes hit southern Türkiye.
The World Health Organization warned that those numbers are likely to increase as much as eight times, as rescue teams find more victims in the rubble. (ILKHA)
