Hope Caravan Foundation and IHO EBRAR deliver sacrificial meat in Adıyaman

Upholding their tradition, Hope Caravan Foundation and IHO EBRAR ensured that tens of thousands of families received sacrificial meat during the recent Eid al-Adha holiday.
This year, their efforts focused on delivering vital aid to families residing in areas devastated by the February 6th earthquake in southeastern Türkiye.
The organizations went beyond their usual operations, extending their reach to numerous provinces across Turkey. A particular emphasis was placed on delivering much-needed sacrificial meat to families struggling in the earthquake zone. This critical support helped ensure these families could celebrate Eid al-Adha despite the ongoing challenges they face.
Hope Caravan Foundation Vice President Mahsun Ayyıldız expressed concern about a significant decrease in domestic sacrifice donations compared to previous years. He emphasized the ongoing plight of earthquake victims, stating, "Our first stop was Şanlıurfa. After slaughtering and distributing the sacrifices there, we came to Adıyaman. Since the first day of the earthquake, we have done our best in these regions and tried to help. We will continue to support them for as long as the hardship persists."
Ayyıldız made a heartfelt appeal to philanthropists, urging them not to forget the ongoing struggles in the earthquake-affected areas. He highlighted the lingering pain and hardship felt by many families, emphasizing: "The pain is really fresh in some places. When philanthropists do not help, we cannot deliver aid." He pointed out the significant drop in sacrifice donations this year compared to past holidays.
In light of these challenges, Ayyıldız made a final plea, stating: "We expect philanthropists to donate to Turkey. Our donation acceptance continues until the fourth day of Eid." This extended window provides an opportunity for those wishing to contribute to the ongoing relief efforts.
Hope Caravan Foundation and IHO EBRAR's dedication to supporting those in need, particularly during this challenging time, is a commendable effort. Their work ensures that families can celebrate religious holidays with dignity while also highlighting the critical need for continued support in earthquake-affected regions. (ILKHA)
