Orphans Foundation launches relief campaign to help victims of Afghanistan earthquake

Orphans Foundation has launched an aid campaign for people affected by the devastating earthquake in Afghanistan that killed more than 1,000 people.
The Orphans Foundation, an international help organization, distributed hot meals to hundreds of families affected by 5.9 magnitude earthquake in Afghanistan’s eastern Paktika province.
On Wednesday, more than 1,000 people were killed and over 1,500 others injured after the earthquake struck Paktika.
According to local officials, more than 500 houses in the Spiri district of Khost province were destroyed in the quake.
After the earthquake, Hibatullah Akhundzada, the head of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, called for humanitarian assistance to people affected by the disaster. (ILKHA)
