The Orphans Foundation has provided critical stationery supplies to support orphaned students as they prepare for the upcoming 2024-2025 Academic Year.
This initiative is part of the Foundation’s ongoing “Educate an Orphan” project, aimed at assisting school-age children from orphan families in need.
The Orphans Foundation, known for its consistent support for orphans, has once again become a beacon of hope for hundreds of students preparing to return to school. The organization’s annual stationery distribution ensures that these children have the necessary tools to succeed in their studies.
Cemil Cahit Ünsal, General Coordinator of the Orphans Foundation, spoke about the initiative, highlighting that the aid activities are made possible through the generous contributions of philanthropists. Ünsal emphasized the continued need for donor support to reach even more children in need.
“We have thousands of orphans waiting for our help,” Ünsal stated. “With the 2024-2025 academic year just two weeks away, we have been working for the past month on our 'Send an Orphan to School Project,' calling on our benefactors to support this cause. We cannot ignore the needs of these children as schools prepare to open. This initiative has been fruitful for several years, and today, with the help of our benefactors, we are distributing stationery to hundreds of orphaned children.”
Ünsal expressed his gratitude to those who have already contributed, while also calling for further support. “Our preparations are complete, and we have begun distributing supplies to our orphaned children. We are thankful to our benefactors, but it is important to remember that there are still thousands of orphans in need. We urge our benefactors to continue to be sensitive to this cause. Their support is essential in providing these children with the stationery they need.”
Looking ahead, Ünsal added: “Inshallah, we will contribute to the education and development of orphans this year. We invite our benefactors to visit our Foundation, participate in the distribution, and witness the joy and smiles on the faces of these children. May this work be a source of good, by the will of the Almighty.” (ILKHA)
