Turkey’s deaths from coronavirus rises to 5,765
Turkey has reported 18 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 5,765.
In a statement posted on his Twitter account, Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca shared the latest official coronavirus figures in the country on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 234,934, after 1,083 more people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.
While 583 patients are in critical condition, 216,494 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
4,973,466 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
