Turkish forces neutralize 22 PKK/YPG members in Iraq and Syria

The Turkish Defense Ministry announced on Friday that 22 members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and its Syrian affiliate, the People's Protection Units (YPG), were neutralized in northern Iraq and Syria.
According to the ministry, 21 PKK/YPG members were killed in the Gara and Asos regions of northern Iraq, while one terrorist was neutralized in the Euphrates Shield region of northern Syria.
In a statement, the Turkish Defense Ministry emphasized that "terrorists cannot escape the end that awaits them."
The ministry praised the Turkish Armed Forces for their successful operation in eliminating the PKK/YPG members. (ILKHA)
