Turkish troops arrest 4 PKK/YPG members in northwestern Syria
Turkish troops have arrested 4 PKK/YPG members in northern Syria, Turkey's Defense Ministry announced in a statement on Friday.
"4 PKK/PYD members, who were detected to carry out terrorist activities aiming to disrupt the peace and secure environment, were arrested in the area of the Operation Olive Branch," the ministry said.
Operation Olive Branch was a cross-border military operation conducted by the Turkish Armed Forces and Turkish-backed Free Syrian Army (TFSA) in the majority-Kurdish Afrin District of northwest Syria. (ILKHA)
