Türkiye’s Grain Board (TMO) has paid a total of TL 3.592 billion to farmers as part of payments for the purchase of various agricultural products.

In a statement shared on its social media account, TMO said payments for products purchased from producers were continuing.

According to the statement, TMO transferred TL 2.501 billion for grain products delivered between August 27 and September 2. The institution also paid TL 902 million for hazelnuts delivered during the same period.

In addition, TMO paid TL 142 million for poppy capsules and seeds delivered between September 2 and 8, while TL 47 million was transferred to producers for green lentils delivered between August 31 and September 2.

With these payments, the total amount paid to producers for the listed agricultural products reached TL 3.592 billion.

TMO said producers who received payments were informed through text messages and that payments for purchased products would continue at regular intervals.(ILKHA)
