HÜDA PAR mayoral candidate announces "urban transformation" project for Batman

Serkan Ramanlı, HÜDA PAR's mayoral candidate for Batman, has revealed details of his 'urban transformation' project that aims to create a more livable and prosperous city.
Ramanlı shared a video message outlining the project, which aims to address the unequal development and infrastructure issues in different parts of Batman. He highlighted the disparity between the city center and the neighborhoods beyond the railway crossing, stating that many of these areas lack proper infrastructure and investment.
The project will focus on zoning regulations, infrastructure development, and potentially even the construction of new housing by the municipality. Ramanlı emphasized his goal of creating equal opportunities for all residents of Batman and ensuring that every part of the city is livable and prosperous.
He stated that the project will not only improve the living conditions in underserved areas but also increase property values and attract economic activity to these neighborhoods. The project goes beyond mere infrastructure upgrades.
Ramanlı envisions a holistic approach that would revitalize underserved areas, improve property values, and attract economic activity. He explained: "Our people in the outskirts will also benefit from their own property, and their property will be valued. We will direct some of the economic, commercial and even administrative aspects of Batman to that side."
Ramanlı's plan goes further, aiming to eradicate the concept of slums and disadvantaged neighborhoods entirely. "We will end the concept of slums and disadvantaged neighborhoods in our city with our urban transformation projects that will develop our entire city and end injustice in zoning. We owe it to them to prepare a clean, tidy and prosperous environment,” he declared.
The "Urban Transformation" project presents a bold vision for Batman's future. By addressing long-standing disparities and promoting inclusive growth, Ramanlı's plan has the potential to significantly improve the lives of residents across the city.
The project has generated significant interest among residents of Batman, with many expressing hopes that it will address the long-standing issues of unequal development and create a more livable and prosperous city. (ILKHA)
