Confirmed coronavirus cases exceeds 70,000 in the USA
The death toll from the coronavirus pandemic in the USA has risen to 1,038, according to Johns Hopkins University.
Over the past 24 hours, the number of infected people jumped to 70,572 from 55,238.
236 more people died from the pandemic, bringing the United States’ death toll to 1,038 in the same period.
“Tough times is waiting for New York” Trump said, adding: “The United States will make a decision at the end of a 15-day period on which way we want to go to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.”
