The death toll from Israel's ongoing genocidal war on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,375 martyrs, while the number of wounded has reached 174,220, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health on Monday.

In its daily report, the ministry said hospitals across Gaza received the bodies of 18 martyrs over the past 24 hours, while 35 Palestinians were injured in continued Israeli attacks. It added that another Palestinian succumbed to wounds sustained in an earlier Israeli strike, bringing the overall death toll even higher.

The ministry said Israeli attacks continue to claim civilian lives despite the ceasefire agreement that entered into force on Oct. 10, 2025. Since then, at least 1,250 Palestinians have been martyred and 4,110 others injured, highlighting what Palestinian officials describe as Israel's continued violations of the truce.

Health authorities warned that Gaza's already devastated healthcare system remains under immense strain as Israeli attacks, shortages of medicine and fuel, and the destruction of medical infrastructure severely hamper efforts to treat the wounded and save lives.

The humanitarian situation across the besieged enclave continues to deteriorate, with hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians facing acute shortages of food, clean water, medicine and shelter amid the ongoing Israeli military campaign.

Palestinian officials and humanitarian organizations have repeatedly called on the international community to take urgent action to halt the attacks, ensure accountability for alleged violations of international law, protect civilians and guarantee the unrestricted delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
