Major General Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, has issued a strong warning to Washington, declaring that Iran’s evolving strategy will overcome the United States’ ongoing military aggression and economic warfare against the Islamic Republic.

“You will soon see that Iran’s new strategy on the battlefield, in diplomacy and in confronting the economic blockade will shatter your foundations,” Rezaei said in a post on X on Wednesday.

Rezaei said the United States and Israel had created a dangerous crisis through military aggression, economic pressure and conspiracies targeting Iran. He warned that those responsible would ultimately be forced to confront the consequences of their actions.

The Iranian security chief said the enemies of the Islamic Republic would not be able to escape the situation they had created, declaring that their efforts to weaken Iran would instead lead to their own defeat.

His remarks came amid a renewed escalation in the Persian Gulf, with Tehran accusing Washington and its allies of intensifying military pressure against Iran and violating the country’s sovereignty.

Iran has responded by emphasizing its right to defend itself against foreign aggression. Iranian Armed Forces have launched missile and drone operations against hostile military targets in the region, demonstrating that military pressure will not go unanswered.

For Tehran, the confrontation extends beyond military operations. Rezaei highlighted three interconnected fronts — the battlefield, diplomacy and economic resistance — as key elements of Iran’s strategy for confronting external pressure.

Iranian officials have repeatedly stressed that sanctions and military threats will not force the country to surrender its independence or strategic interests. Instead, Tehran says it will continue strengthening its defensive capabilities, expanding diplomatic engagement and developing mechanisms to withstand economic restrictions.

Rezaei’s warning reflects Iran’s broader message that attempts to impose political demands through military force and economic coercion will fail to break the country’s resistance.

As tensions continue to rise, Tehran has signaled that it remains prepared to defend its territory and national interests while pursuing diplomatic and economic measures aimed at countering a coordinated campaign of pressure against the Islamic Republic. (ILKHA)
