The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has inaugurated two new industrial and publishing facilities, describing the projects as important steps toward strengthening the country’s economy, creating opportunities for domestic production and supporting national development.

Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate, attended the inauguration of the Green Industries Industrial Park and the Islamic Culture Printing and Publishing Production Center, hailing the projects as significant achievements for Afghanistan’s welfare and economic development.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mujahid said the Islamic Emirate’s leadership remains committed to strengthening the national economy and expanding productive activities across the country. He stressed that continued economic development is essential to improving living conditions and creating new opportunities for the Afghan population.

Mujahid also highlighted the role of Afghanistan’s security forces, saying they continue working to maintain stability and protect public safety. According to the spokesman, a secure environment is essential for businesses, investors and industrial projects to operate and expand.

The inauguration of the new industrial park was presented as part of broader efforts to expand Afghanistan’s domestic production capacity and reduce dependence on imported goods.

Mujahid said the Afghan people had waited for tangible progress in economic and industrial development and argued that the opening of new production facilities demonstrates that the country is moving toward greater economic activity.

The Green Industries Industrial Park is expected to contribute to industrial development by supporting production and providing employment opportunities, while the Islamic Culture Printing and Publishing Production Center is intended to strengthen Afghanistan’s domestic printing and publishing capacity.

Mujahid further stated that Afghanistan had recorded significant achievements across various sectors over the past five years.

He pointed to the development of economic and industrial activities as part of what he described as a broader effort to rebuild the country and improve public welfare.

The spokesman said the leadership remains determined to achieve further progress in the coming years, emphasizing that the government will continue working to expand economic opportunities and strengthen Afghanistan’s productive sectors.

The inauguration comes as Afghanistan continues to face significant economic challenges, including limited access to international financial markets, high unemployment and humanitarian needs.
