Orphans Foundation distributes iftar meals amid growing humanitarian crisis in Gaza
As the humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to escalate under ongoing attacks and blockade by the Israeli occupation forces, the Orphans Foundation has stepped in to provide vital relief by distributing iftar meals to hundreds of Palestinians during the holy month of Ramadan.
In a region gripped by destruction, displacement, and hunger, the Foundation’s efforts have brought a moment of solace and a message of solidarity to Gaza’s besieged population. Volunteers of the Orphans Foundation reached communities across the Strip, offering hot meals to those struggling to survive amid relentless bombardment and deteriorating living conditions.
The organization emphasized that its aid activities are ongoing and driven by the belief that no one should be left alone in hardship. “Despite the devastation, we are committed to standing by the people of Gaza and making them feel the blessings of Ramadan and the power of unity,” a Foundation representative stated.
The hot meals have become a source of morale and spiritual strength for the residents, particularly vulnerable groups such as women, children, and the elderly, who are bearing the brunt of the violence. Many recipients expressed gratitude, noting that the iftar meals provided a rare moment of comfort in an otherwise dire situation.
Foundation officials also confirmed that their support would not be limited to food distribution. Plans are in place to expand humanitarian assistance to include essential food parcels and medical aid as the crisis deepens.
The Orphans Foundation’s commitment offers a glimmer of hope in Gaza, reinforcing the message that even in the darkest times, compassion and solidarity can shine through. (ILKHA)
