Trump reveals U.S. was informed of Israeli attack on Iran, denies involvement

U.S. President Donald Trump has acknowledged that the United States was informed in advance of the recent Israeli strikes on Iranian territory.
In a carefully worded interview with Fox News, Trump admitted that Washington had prior knowledge of the attacks, which targeted Iranian civilians, scientists, and national infrastructure. While he denied direct U.S. military involvement, the revelation has raised serious questions about the role of the United States in facilitating or enabling the criminal assault.
“Israel took this step on its own,” Trump claimed, distancing himself from the Israeli regime’s actions, even as his statements revealed Washington's awareness and tacit approval.
Attempting to downplay the gravity of the situation, Trump expressed hope that Iran would continue diplomatic talks with the U.S. — a suggestion Iranian officials are likely to treat with caution, given Washington’s history of betrayal and duplicity.
The former president also repeated a baseless accusation that Iran seeks nuclear weapons — a claim long discredited by international watchdogs. Tehran has consistently maintained that its nuclear program is entirely peaceful, in line with its obligations under the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and subject to regular inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
Trump’s remarks, while carefully crafted, underscore the West’s ongoing support for Zionist aggression in the region. As Iran mourns its martyrs and prepares to respond, the Islamic Republic remains steadfast in defending its sovereignty and the rights of its people against foreign conspiracies. (ILKHA)
