US Coast Guard helicopter crashes during training flight in Alaska
A US Coast Guard helicopter crashed during a routine training exercise near the city of Sitka, Alaska, with all four crew members on board surviving the incident.
According to a report by the US Naval Institute (USNI) News, the aircraft involved in the accident was an MH-60 Jayhawk model operating from the Coast Guard Air Station Sitka.
Coast Guard officials confirmed in an official statement that the four-person flight crew was successfully rescued from the crash site and immediately transported to a nearby medical facility for evaluation.
While authorities reported no fatalities or life-threatening injuries from the scene, an official military investigation has been initiated to determine the exact cause of the structural failure or accident.(ILKHA)
