Death toll from coronavirus reaches 7,249 in Turkey
63 more people have died from coronavirus in Turkey, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 7,249, the Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said in a statement on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 296,391 after 1,771 more people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.
While 1,351 patients are in critical condition, 262,602 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
8,855,180 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
