The Prophet's Lovers Foundation marked the recent victory of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza by displaying a powerful banner on the historic Küpeli Gate in Diyarbakır's Sur district.
The gesture resonated across the Islamic world, celebrating the defeat of the Israeli regime and showcasing unwavering solidarity with Palestine.
The banner, emblazoned with the message “Victory is for the Believers,” featured images of prominent Palestinian resistance leaders, including Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, Salih Arouri, and Al-Qassam Brigades spokesperson Abu Ubaida. It also included historical Islamic figures such as Said Nursi and Martyr Sheikh Said, underscoring the connection between past and present struggles for justice and freedom.
In a further message of unity, the banner proclaimed: “Greetings to the Heroic Sons of Gaza from Amed, the Land of Said,” linking the historic resilience of Diyarbakır to the ongoing Palestinian struggle.
The display drew widespread attention, with many viewing it as a testament to the enduring spirit of solidarity within the Muslim world. By adorning the ancient city walls with such a poignant message, the foundation highlighted the shared commitment to justice and resistance against oppression.
The gesture follows months of activities by the Prophet's Lovers Foundation in support of Palestine since the Aqsa Flood operation began on October 7, 2023. The historic city walls of Diyarbakır, a symbol of resilience and defiance, served as the perfect canvas to amplify the call for victory and unity. (ILKHA)
